PELL CITY -- Williams Intermediate School and Duran South and Duran North junior high schools competed at the Jr. Beta State Convention at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex on March 13-15, according to a press release.
All three schools came home with wins and will be going to National Convention this summer in Oklahoma City.
The Jr. Beta Club promotes the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students. It is divided into two divisions, Division 1 is for grades 4-5, and Division 2 is grades 6-8.

The club also qualified for nationals in Songfest.
