PELL CITY -- Pell City High School graduated 269 seniors Friday night at Pete Rich Alumni Stadium.

The graduating class missed the last few months of its senior year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the seniors were able to close with a commencement service to receive their diplomas.

The service began with a welcome by class President Legacy Keller, followed by an invocation by Nicolas Jones and executive speech by SGA President Malea Benjamin.

Hannah Best presented the salutatorian address before giving way to Paige Edwards for the valedictorian address. Interim Principal Holly Costello awarded each student his/her diploma, and the ceremony closed with the playing of alma mater.
