ST. CLAIR COUNTY -- Beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will close the left two lanes of Interstate 20 westbound for pavement milling operations from the Eden exit (milepost 156) to the Cook Springs exit (milepost 152), according to a press release.
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at 6 a.m. Monday.
This same lane closure will be in place from 7 p.m. Monday, July 16, until 6 a.m., Tuesday, July 17.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area.
