TALLADEGA -- The Armstrong-Osborne Library in Talladega has announced its summer reading schedule for 2018. The theme for this year is “Libraries Rock!”
The schedule kicks off Thursday, June 7, with Ron Anglin the juggler, who will also be running a workshop for children between the ages of 8 and 12 starting at 11 a.m. He will be teaching participants how to juggle and do Chinese yo-yo, according to a press release.
June 12 will be the Rick Rakestraw animal show at The Historic Ritz Theatre, followed by story time for 3-to-7-year olds at the library June 14.
Mark Seymour will perform at the library June 19. Magician Bill Packard will be at the library June 21, followed by balloons with Dewayne Reynolds on June 26.
The last program, June 28, will be the Summer Reading Blowout with Skip Cain, featuring face painting, a magic show, fun, games and refreshments.
All programs will begin at 10 a.m.
