TALLADEGA -- Apple Annie is here! Presales have begun for the longstanding community fundraiser for the Talladega Junior Welfare League (TJWL).

Members sell crates of Granny Smith and Red Delicious apples to raise funds to support various organizations such as Red Door Kitchen, The Historic Ritz Theatre and First Family Services to name a few.  Funds also are used for scholarships for graduating seniors, holiday gift baskets for families in need and donations to local schools.

Order a crate, half crate or quarter crate of either variety or mix by Sept. 27. Pre-ordered apples will be delivered the last weekend in October, just in time to be handed out as treats for Halloween and fall festivals. TJWL members will be out on the Square and in local schools on Friday, Nov. 2, selling individual apples and crates on Apple Annie Day.

To order apples, please visithttps://talladegajuniorleague.wufoo.com/forms/2018-tjwl-apple-annie-presales/ or contact TWJL President Powell Sims 256-223-6264.
