Talladega City school board recognizes art contest winners

The Talladega City school board during its regular meeting Tuesday night honored the system winners of the Alabama State Department of Education’s annual art contest. 

TALLADEGA -- The Talladega City school board during its regular meeting Tuesday night honored the system winners of the Alabama State Department of Education’s annual art contest. Each of the 10 winning artists will have his/her work displayed in the State Superintendent’s Art Exhibition in Montgomery.

Pictured above are R.L. Young Elementary sixth-grader Lynzee Sullivan, R.L. Young kindergartner Kaden Curry, Talladega City Schools Superintendent Tony Ball, Zora Ellis Junior High seventh-grader Jason Dates, Talladega City Board of Education Chairman Chuck Roberts, Talladega High junior Carolyn Humphrey and Zora Ellis eighth-grader Addison Staude.
