TALLADEGA -- Residents in the Talladega and St. Clair counties area spent Thursday dodging showers and thunderstorms and dealing with wet roads while going about their daily business.
Friday may bring more of the same. According to the National Weather Service, showers and thunderstorms are likely, mainly after 1 p.m. Expect a mostly cloudy sky, with a high near 86. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch are expected, but higher amounts will be possible in thunderstorms.
