CHILDERSBURG -- The weather may not have been ideal, but the chilly rain didn't keep away the crowds at the second annual Pumpkin Festival hosted by Childersburg Parks and Recreation.
There was still plenty of fun to be had inside the R.S. Limbaugh Community Center and more outside, too.
Children participated in Halloween costume contests and pumpkin carving contests, and dozens of vendors offered a wide variety of food, games, products and services. Outside, attendees could have fun on a hayride, enjoy an inflatable bounce house, fly through a Virtual Simulator or take a plodding ride on a horse.
