LINCOLN -- More than 150 first- and second-graders from Lincoln and Stemley elementary schools spent part of their Friday learning about food and where it comes from.

FFA club members from Lincoln High and Drew Middle schools help lead the students through interactive and hands-on stations learning about farming from real area farmers.

Cows, turkeys, pigs, horses, sheep, dogs and chickens were all on display and received many pets and pats from eager and curious students. The event was organized by Lincoln chapter FFA co-advisors and agriculture teachers Amy Stephens with the high school and Hannah McBurnett with the middle school.
