Life Saver helicopter transports victim to UAB following car vs. pedestrian collision Monday

Alabama State Troopers and Talladega police and firefighters responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision on Alabama 21 North near Curry Station Road on Monday morning. The pedestrian was airlifted to University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital by Life Saver helicopter. According to witnesses, his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. No further information was available Monday evening as the case remained under investigation by state troopers.
