Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll fundraiser is Friday

The Knights of Columbus and volunteers will hold their annual Tootsie Roll fundraiser Friday, Oct. 12, on the Talladega Courthouse Square and the Piggly Wiggly on Battle Street. TALLADEGA -- The Knights of Columbus and volunteers will hold their annual Tootsie Roll fundraiser Friday, Oct. 12, on the Talladega Courthouse Square and the Piggly Wiggly on Battle Street.

Gov. Kay Ivey has issued a proclamation declaring October 2018 as the Knights of Columbus Citizens with Intellectual Disabilities Awareness Month and urges all residents to support this event.

All funds collected will go to the ARC of North Talladega County, a nonprofit organization that provides support and assistance to people in our area with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
