If you drove by Talladega County Central High School on Friday, you would have thought it was a small college tailgating party, not a small Class 1A school.
Hundreds of TC Central alumni brought campers and RVs to spend the day tailgating on the school lawn before the homecoming game Friday evening against B.B. Comer.
Dozens of tents representing families, graduating classes and churches dotted the lawn with enough food to feed an army. The annual event has become a reunion of old friends and classmates who treat everyone like they are family.
