ST. CLAIR COUNTY – Weather permitting, Sunday, July 15, work is scheduled to begin on the milling and resurfacing of Interstate 20 in Pell City, St. Clair County, from 0.7 miles west of the US-78 exit at Eden to the Coosa River Bridge at Riverside, according to a press release from the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT).
Work will begin in the eastbound lanes.
Closures will be from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each day. The approximate finish date for this project is September 2018.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area.
