TALLADEGA -- The Greater Talladega and Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its business, nonprofit, first responder and citizen of the year awards.
The winners will be honored at the annual awards luncheon Wednesday, Jan. 30, at the Bagley Center at Shocco Springs Baptist Conference Center. The luncheon will begin at noon.
Three businesses will be honored, one from Talladega, one from Lincoln and one from Munford. The nonprofit, first responder and citizen awards will include the entire area.
This year’s guest speaker will be John Parker Wilson, former Alabama quarterback and current color analyst for the Alabama radio broadcast, according to a flier announcing the event. He is also a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley.
