Heritage Hall held the first week of “Arts Camp for Kids” this week at the Career Technology building on the Campus of Alabama School for the Deaf. Sessions run a half day, 8 a.m.-noon and comprise 2D and 3D art classes, music, dance/theater and pottery or other fine art instruction. Local artists and teachers instruct the classes. On the last day, parents and family members are treated to a performance at the Historic Ritz Theatre on the Talladega Square. The second Arts Camp starts Monday, July 23, and concludes Friday, July 27.
