The Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind honored its recent retirees Tuesday at a luncheon at the E.H. Gentry Cafetorium. The retirees on hand for the luncheon included (front row) Dolores Brown, Cynthia Shaw, Aileen Barnard, Carolyn Graham and Minnie Powell. In the second row are Carolyn Jones, Gina Roden, Charles Roden, Chae Kelley, Judy Causey, Cynthia Beard, Patsy Thrower, James Minor and Joann Evans. In the third row are Janice Truss, Mavis Hamlin, Cassandra Porter, Tina Cunningham, Sandy Foshee, Linda Robinson, Helen Mitchell, Ella Swain and Sue Bumpers.

TALLADEGA -- The Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind honored its recent retirees Tuesday at a luncheon at the E.H. Gentry Cafetorium.

Former employee and AIDB board member Linwood French spoke to the retirees about his perspective and activities he has enjoyed since retirement. The retirees represented more than 800 years of service at AIDB.
