TUSCALOOSA — For a third straight season, Alabama will play a conference opponent on homecoming.
The Crimson Tide’s homecoming game is scheduled for Oct. 13 against Missouri, the school announced Monday. A game time and other events surrounding it will be announced at a later date, according to the school.
One year after suffocating Kentucky 34-6 to celebrate its homecoming, Alabama beat Arkansas 41-9 inside Bryant-Denny Stadium to cap 2017’s homecoming week.
Tide coach Nick Saban has not lost a homecoming game in his 11-year Alabama tenure. The program has a 16-game homecoming winning streak dating back to 2002.
The game against Missouri is just Alabama’s sixth ever meeting with the Eastern division foe. Under Saban, Alabama is 2-0 against the Tigers, winning 42-10 at Columbia in 2012 before thrashing them 42-13 in the 2014 SEC Championship Game.
