TUSCALOOSA -- Alabama took the field in Bryant-Denny Stadium Saturday for its final scrimmage of preseason practice. It's a perfect day for some football.

Here are some takeaways:

--Alec Morris was the quarterback with the first offensive group. He worked with the first offensive line group. From left tackle to right tackle: Cam Robinson, Ross PierschbacherRyan Kelly, Alphonse Taylor and Dominick Jackson.

Today could be Morris' day to run the first offense with Jake Coker (toe) still a little limited.

--Speaking of Coker, he was with the second offensive group.

--David Cornwell and Blake Barnett appeared to be splitting time with the third offensive group.

--Bradley Bozeman was with the second offensive line group.

--Cornerback Tony Brown has changed from No. 2 to No. 7. The reason is so he can play special teams with Derrick Henry, who also wears No. 2.

--Speaking of cornerbacks, Marlon Humphrey continued to work with the first defensive group opposite Cyrus Jones.

--Chris Black was back in the fold and leading one of the wide receiver lines. Behind him was ArDarius Stewart and Richard Mullaney.

Robert Foster led the other receiver line followed by Calvin Ridley and Deionte Thompson.

--A scout from the Miami Dolphins watched practice.

--In one of the funnier moments of the viewing period, offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin was seen working as a linebacker/safety against the tight ends. Kiffin shadowed a couple of tight ends on their routes and even tried to strip the ball away. He's still wearing clothes that are a couple of sizes too big.

Up next: Tide coach Nick Saban will speak with reporters following the scrimmage. After that, Alabama will get Sunday and Monday off.
