Anniston residents were upset Monday evening about the city Housing Authority’s plans to soon demolish more public apartment complexes.
The Anniston public housing development Barber Terrace is scheduled to be demolished and reconstructed next spring, according to a representative of the company that will do the work.
“We are the only thrift store in town that directly benefits a nonprofit,” said Jeremy Hardy, PHFC Thrift Store director. “The store is always getting in new inventory and has just about everything a person could need.”
About 100 residents in Weaver did not receive their water bills this month, according to Mayor Wayne Willis.
