The last three candidates (of eight) will be interviewed Thursday, starting at 5 p.m. After that, the board will hold another called meeting Friday, starting at 9 a.m. and, hopefully, make a decision.
Cosmetologist Michelle Jones is proud of her son, Hunter. He’s never given her any problems, and he seems to have his future planned. Hunter graduated in 2016 from Piedmont High School with an honors diploma, and is a freshman at Jacksonville State University, pursuing a degree in nursing.
Michelle is happy he chose nursing. But he could have chosen cosmetology instead, because he grew up watching her cut, perm, color and style hair.
“Hunter could probably cut hair as well as anyone,” Michelle said. “He’s cut mine several times.”
