I want to commend Calhoun County Commissioner Tim Hodges for getting the last stretch of rough road on Henry Road paved near The Donoho School and the Anniston fire station. This has been in a sad state for a long time, and with the hundreds of people who travel that road to get from one side to the other, it has been a joy to have this fixed.

Not only did he arrange for it to be fixed, asphalt was used that will allow the city to use salt and similar substances during icy and snowy conditions.

Thanks, Tim, good job.
