I endorse Joe Dyar as our next Calhoun County commissioner.

I have known Dyar, the superintendent of Calhoun County Schools, for years and have observed the duties he has fulfilled in a remarkable and professional manner. Under his tenure, several building renovations were completed at Weaver and Wellborn schools, as well as new additions to Saks, Ohatchee and Alexandria schools.

The frugal, fiscal responsibility modeled by Dyar and his team has allowed for a safe and orderly environment for both students and teachers. In addition, innovative programs in robotics and elementary music, as well as several new boys and girls athletic programs, have been created. Dyar has made it a point to ensure that all children have excellent opportunities so they may achieve their potential. I have a unique understanding of his daily challenges because my dad, Charles Boozer, was superintendent of Calhoun County Schools for over 15 years. Joe will be able to transfer his unique skill set to the commissioner’s office in District 4. Please join me on June 5 and vote for Joe Dyar.
