Journalist Bob Woodward -- Watergate Bob Woodward, that is -- is owning the internet this morning.

The Washington Post has reviewed an advance copy of Woodward's forthcoming book, Fear: Trump in the White House, that has been advertised as an exhaustive and deeply reported look at how this president and his administration operates.

A few tidbits:

--Chief of Staff John Kelly on President Trump: “He’s an idiot. It’s pointless to try to convince him of anything. He’s gone off the rails. We’re in Crazytown. I don’t even know why any of us are here. This is the worst job I’ve ever had.”

--Trump on Attorney General Jeff Sessions: “This guy is mentally retarded. He’s this dumb Southerner. … He couldn’t even be a one-person country lawyer down in Alabama.”

--White House Counsel "Cohn 'stole a letter off Trump’s desk' that the president was intending to sign to formally withdraw the United States from a trade agreement with South Korea." Why? National security, he said.

--Ivanka Trump screamed at Steve Bannon. “I’m not a staffer! I’ll never be a staffer. I’m the first daughter.”

--Attorney John Dowd told Trump: “Don’t testify (with Mueller). It’s either that or an orange jumpsuit.”

--Trump wouldn't go in the Oval Office alone for 18 months. Scared of the ghosts.
