Helping autistic children

Imagine being told that your insurance company will not pay for your child’s treatment because he has autism.

At age 3, my son was already being discriminated against. Some families are covered because they work for large companies that are “self-funded,” meaning the companies can tell the insurance companies what they want for their employees, and some fine companies have demanded treatment for autism. But not my family, we have no voice in the matter.
