Editorial: Politically, who's scarier? Trump or the folks who booed him?

The superspreader came to Cullman in north-central Alabama on Saturday for a rally despite a county-declared COVID-19 emergency.

It made no sense for the Donald Trump to be there, but the former president's decision drew tens of thousands of true believers to his crusade, reminding us of an immoral televangelist, preaching a poisonous gospel to the masses.
