A 26-year-old Ohatchee man reported a theft Wednesday, according to Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.

The theft occurred between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. Wednesday, according to the report.

The man reported that his 2001 black Ford Mustang, Playstation 4, flat-screen television, DVDs and Playstation games, Amazon Firestick, a .32 caliber revolver and a lock box containing jewelry, keys and paperwork were stolen. The items were valued at around $11,500.

Sheriff Matthew Wade said the victim reported the items were stolen while he was in police custody in Southside on unrelated charges, and that the victim believes a person who was with him when he was arrested was responsible.

The Sheriff’s Office has issued no warrant in the case as of Thursday morning, Wade said.
