Meghan Jackson and Taylor Clopton were married Aug. 27, 2016, at Park Crest Gardens in Birmingham. Pastor Steve Blair performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Jennifer Tompkins Davis and Jonathan Tompkins.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Bob Jackson of Pell City and Julie Jackson and Howard Clark of Tampa, Fla.
Parents of the groom are Mike and Phyllis Clopton of Jacksonville.
Grandparents of the bride are the late P.R. and Dorothy Jackson, formerly of Winston-Salem, N.C., and the late Llewelyn Ford and Patricia Terry, formerly of Tampa, Fla.
Grandparents of the groom are Bill and Ruby Laughead and Sarah Clopton, all of Jacksonville and the late Neal Clopton.
Bridesmaids were Brooke Comfort of Jacksonville, sister of the groom; Christina Durham, Brigham Nail, Allyson Panter, Jenna Flanagan and Nicole Calamas, all of Birmingham.
Flower girl was Kinleigh Comfort, niece of the groom, of Jacksonville.
Maid of honor was Caley Jackson, sister of the bride.
Groomsmen were James Owen of Clarksville, Tenn.; Michael Duckworth of Weaver; Jerome Mitchell of Gadsden; Patrick Mitchell of Anniston; James Nifong, of North Carolina and Will Thompson, cousin of the groom, of Jacksonville.

The reception was held at Park Crest Carriage House in Birmingham.
After a wedding trip to Tahiti, the couple resides in Birmingham.
