The right way to chill wine

Now that summer is officially here, it is time to turn to summer wines. Some would argue there is no such thing as a summer wine, and that is likely true. Wine does not have a season, but alcohol does warm one up.

There is a scientific reason for this. Alcohol acts as a vasodilator. When one has a drink, it causes the capillaries just under the skin to dilate, bringing an increasing amount of blood to the skin’s surface, causing one to feel warm.
