Local Black, white church leaders to host community prayer meeting Saturday

The death of George Floyd and Black Lives Matter protests have taken the world by storm, and faith communities everywhere have been searching for a way to unite the public in these trying times.

Pastor Laura Hutchinson of First Christian Church of Anniston spent a lot of time praying about how she could do her part to help the community. This led her to contact her friend Randy Rhine, pastor of Praise Temple Ministry in Anniston, and the two formed a plan for a community prayer gathering.
