For more than a decade, Greenbrier Road Baptist Church in Anniston has been putting on a live nativity for Christmas. Visitors take a hayride and visit different scenes from the Biblical story of Christ’s birth. There are guardsmen and gatekeepers, townspeople and a choir of musicians. Mary and Joseph can be seen walking with a donkey. Visitors can also stop at a woodworking shop and a petting zoo.
Anniston Star photographer Stephen Gross recently visited on rehearsal night for a behind-the-scenes look.
