Chip Z’Nuff on his band’s new album ‘Finer Then Sin’

Enuff Z’Nuff

I remember when Enuff Z’Nuff put out their self-titled debut album in 1989. The word was it was Beatles influenced 1980’s metal. I listen to that record now and the description still holds true. I remember neon green peace signs plastered all over their visuals. Only us ’80s kids could think that a peace sign was a vibrant symbol of cutting edge imagery. Neon made everything cutting edge then.

I vividly remember the first two singles “New Thing” and “Fly High Michelle” ruling the tape deck in my red Camaro that terrorized Alabama 21 with a cheeseburger wrapper and chocolate shake cup from Cecil’s tossed in the passenger side floor board.
