There’s an interesting literary premise at play in “The First Ten Years: Two Sides of the Same Love Story,” the double-sided memoir-of-sorts by Meg Bashwiner and Joseph Fink.

That premise is revealed in its title. The book’s cover even promises a joint memoir that is “the story of two individuals finding their way in the world and becoming ‘adults’ as they learn to become a couple.”
