‘Atty at Law’ by Tim Lockette, Triangle Books, 2020, 239 pages, $18.95

“Atty at Law” is the debut novel from Tim Lockette, a resident of Jacksonville and a reporter for The Anniston Star. Although the publisher calls it a book for young readers, it has delights enough for readers of any age.

Says a now-11-year-old budding critic who was sent a copy for her birthday a couple of weeks ago: “The book was amazing. (I only got it yesterday afternoon and I read it for hours to finish it.)”
