Local artists teach us about other countries and cultures

Surprise — worry — peace of mind — and sometimes a change of mind. Those can be the effects on an audience brought about by artists in theater and literature, as well as by travelers who bring home an understanding of distant countries and cultures.

Messages come to us from the actors in “Godspell,” a musical is presented this weekend only at Theatre of Gadsden, (TOG) a book  by Linda Rochester about Irene Teel, a reader from Clay County, and David and Lesa Cummings sharing highlights of their trip to Egypt and Jordan.
