Stories that preserve history can be shared in different ways, and sometimes very dramatically. A narrative of Christ’s life will be told by Jacksonville State University’s Chamber Singers and Chamber Orchestra Nov. 5 and 6. Also, Calhoun County’s role in the Civil War is best revisited at public events by regimented men marching in strict formation as part of a reenactment company. Jason Sumner, Captain of the 31st Alabama Infantry F, offers a program on this subject Nov. 8 at the Calhoun County Historical Society.
