It’s spring, and Anniston is showing us a different side of her nature. The town has taken on the vibrant colors of pink, white, violet and gold, making the landscapes lively again. New views have surfaced within the artistic view, too. At Grace Episcopal Church in Anniston, a new collection of 14 pieces of needlepoint created by church members emphasizes the spiritual meaning of Easter. And a book of short stories by a pastor reflects an entirely different mood, with words of wisdom and warning. Both projects are evidence that artists have been working during the pandemic.
