Dr. Mohamad Eloubeidi is a physician specializing in gastroenterology and hepatology who also serves on the Regional Medical Center Foundation Board. Dr. Eloubeidi attended undergraduate school and medical school at the American University of Beirut. His residency in medicine and gastroenterology was at Duke University Medical Center, and he studied advanced endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound at the Medical University of South Carolina. Prior to coming to RMC, Dr. Eloubeidi developed and served as director of the first endoscopic ultrasound and pancreas biliary program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Why did you want to get into medicine? I was always fascinated by nature and human biology as great signs of God’s creation when I grew up in the hills of Lebanon, so I was attracted to biology. My specialty is gastroenterology and hepatology, which is the study and treatment of gastrointestinal problems and liver diseases.
