Donsquirla Thornton is the program coordinator for Anniston Fatherhood Initiative, a nonprofit organization that educates and enriches fathers. He became involved with AFI while completing an internship at the Anniston Housing Authority last autumn and was hired to be the program coordinator. What is your professional background? I graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work (cum laude) in 2019 from Jacksonville State University. My first job in social services came in 2017 with an opportunity at Making A Difference, where I was responsible for transportation and therapeutic visitations. I became the first program coordinator for the Anniston Fatherhood Initiative in March of 2020.
