Keri Ellen Medders and Neal McGinnis were married Sept. 17, 2016, at Classic on Noble in Anniston.
Parents of the bride are Butch Medders (Rhonda) of Weaver and Freida (Ted) Cromer of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.
Parents of the groom are Ms. Linda McGinnis and the late James D. McGinnis of Colbert, Ga.
The Rev. Hugh Hendrickson of Greensboro, Ga., performed the traditional Methodist ceremony and served Holy Communion to the wedding party. The bride and groom, as their first act of Christian service together, chose to serve Holy Communion to their wedding guests.
The bride was escorted by her grandfather “Pop”, Thomas Badgett and was radiant in her wedding gown of sweetheart neckline lace bodice with tulle shoulder straps. The lace bodice flowed into an A-line tulle overlay with lace applique skirt and sweep train. An ivory satin sash with pearl, rhinestone and beaded detailing accented the waist and ended in a bow in back. The hand beaded, elbow length veil was accented with pearls and swarovski crystals. The bridal bouquet was a simple arrangement of cezanne and sweetheart roses with lavender asters.
The maid of honor was Ms. Cindy Brannon and the best man was Mr. Matthew Carter.
A lovely luncheon reception followed, served by Classic on Noble.
After a trip to Chattanooga, Tenn., the couple resides in Winterville, Ga.
