Gen. 15:7-18, “Faith in the Darkness Brings us to the Light!” When we are in dark places, God puts us there so we can understand who he is. Abraham had faith but had concerns. He was reminded of God, His power, and plan to make Abraham into father of a great nation. Abram wanted to know more so he could know. He would even have challenge in his faith to fulfill all. He has to prepare to sacrifice and had to create covenants. God asks us to do things when not necessarily fun. He also had to protect the sacrifice from vultures. We need to do what we must to protect ourselves from Satan. Above all, we need to be patient in our schedule of when God is ready to do things with us.

Abram’s faith had confirmation in the darkness of things. This lets us know that even in the darkest times that God is there for us. He does this so we can mature. We have to see the details in it and what we must sometimes endure. We don’t plan everything. We may try but God is in control. Know God and know that you are blessed. Know that we must endure to grow with Him and through Him.

Mount Olive Church of God

Brother Greg opened our services today with Daniel 2:20-21. God is in charge of world events (seasons and authorities). Everything is according to His will .

Our Adult Sunday school lesson today was “God’s Glory and Ezekiel’s call,” Ezekiel 1:1-3:15. Ezekiel responded to his vision of God’s Glory by falling on his face in humble reverence ,he would be God’s obedient servant . As believers we are to Love and Obey God’s commandments , when we commit ourselves to Him, He will supply all we need to accomplish His will .

Our choir sang “I’ll Have A New Life ,”  free from every imperfection, happy, no sorrow, strife or pain. In His Likeness we’ll be glad . “  Just Think about it !!

Brother Ronnie’s message this morning was “Wiles of the devil ,” Ephesians 6:10-18. The devil does not care what causes us to fall , just wants us to fall . None of us can face the devil alone, we have to put on the Whole Armour Of God . Pray and study God’s Word helps with any temptation.

We were honored to have all of the Gamble Family with us today !

Brother David Gamble brought our message tonight from Genesis 3:1-13, “ I Didn’t Do It .” God cannot help us unless we admit we’ve sinned . We have to confess and obey . 1 John 5:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

We REJOICE over one saved tonight !
