The adult Sunday school lesson today was, “A generation that forgot God.” Judges 2:1-3:4. In the book of Judges we learn how God desires to walk in covenant relationship with us. When we disobey it takes us from Gods presence and brings sorrow. We have to live faithfully, we cannot conform to the world! When we share our struggles and God’s Greatness with the next generation we are obeying and being faithful to sharing the gospel.
Our morning service was one of prayer and Holy Ghost ministering to us! Prayers for healing and to be filled with the Holy Ghost were made! Thanking God in advance for the answers!
Brother Greg opened our services tonight. The choir song “Everybody will be happy over there”. As Brother Greg said “for eternity there will be no burdens to bare, no cares to worry about!” God is always drawing people to give them a second chance “.
Brother Ronnie’s message tonight was from 1 Kings 19:1-10, “There are no Lone Rangers in Gods army.” When we slack our responsibilities to God and His People we make the burden harder on someone else! When we have the Holy Ghost we don’t have to fear the devil. 1 John 4:4. Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world! We have to pray and support one another, Love!
