Mount Olive Church of God

We hope everyone had a Blessed Father’s Day ! Mount Olive is blessed with many special Dads and others that are not Dads that are still good role models .

Our Adult Sunday School lesson today was “ Do not make rash vows (Jephthah)” Deuteronomy 23:21-23; Judges 10:6-11:40 , Ecclesiastes 5:1-7.

God had rather have our love and obedience to prove our commitment to Him than our vow’s . I loved this quote by Alan Redpath in our lesson today “ Circumstances which we have resented , Situations which we have found desperately difficult, have all been the means in the hands of God if driving the nails into the self-life which so easily complain’s.”

Brother Ronnie’s message this morning was from Romans 8:14-25, “ Abba Father ,” not everyone that’s born will enjoy the presence of God. It’s up to us whether we  become a son or daughter or not . God love’s us and has a purpose for every life !
