“God’s Glory Return’s,” Ezekiel 43:1-12,47:1-12, was today’s Adult Sunday School lesson. When we’re saved we enjoy the blessings of peace with God , forgiveness of sin , eternal life . We feel the closeness of God’s Presence when we read our Bibles, pray , sing praises and worship . Ezekiel 47:11 says the miry places and marishes were given to salt . A quote by Vance Havner , “Salt seasons , purifies , preserves . Somebody ought to remind us that salt also irritates. Real Christianity rubs this world the wrong way .”
Brother Ronnie’s message this morning was on “Peace,” Roman’s 5:1-6. “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ “ (Roman’s 5:1). There is No Cost for this peace , True Peace that comes from Jesus Has Already Been paid for ! Psalm 4:8 “ I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep : for thou Lord , only makest me dwell in safety.”
We enjoyed having Living Word Family Church with us tonight. Brother James Roper brought our message from John 20:11-16, “When He Call’s My Name .” Mary was in a world full of doubt and fear and like us at times it kept her from seeing Jesus !
The moment Jesus called her name she was no longer searching for something physical in this world. We have to read our Bibles and pray so we stay close enough to God to see Him Spiritually !
