Mount Olive Church of God

Join us this week for Revival with the Carver Family ! Our theme for Revival will be Jeremiah 32:26-27. “Nothing is Too Big or Too Hard for God !”

Our Adult Sunday School lesson today was “Who is the Trinity ?”  several scriptures were used. We believe there is One God eternally existing in three person’s , the Father , the Son and the Holy Ghost ! Nothing show’s God’s love better than His sending Jesus to die on the cross for our sin’s . At Jesus baptism the three person’s of the Holy Trinity are seen interacting with one another  (Matthew  3:13-17 ).

Brother Ronnie’s message this morning was “ Maintaining Course ,” Proverb’s 3:1-6 . Hebrew’s 13:8 “Jesus Christ  “the same yesterday , and today and forever !” Our course has not changed ! We cannot allow the pressure’s of the world to veer us off course ! Jeremiah 29:11-13 , we have to search for God with all our heart !

Brother Ronnie’s message tonight was from Judges 7:2-5. There’s a battle in our nation now over religious symbol’s , they are starting to want to take them down . There is also a battle against a multitude of worldliness, and multitude’s who only want to see what satisfies them . The devil wants us to be so carried away with little things we won’t hear the trumpet ! Jude 24-25 tells us God is able to keep us ! Help us Father to watch and pray so we will be ready when you call !

The Church at Pleasant Grove

All of us here at The Church at Pleasant Grove have been having a great time growing and plugging in.  We have lot’s going on and we know you wanna hear all about it so you can join in the fun too!

In addition to the 10:30am Sunday Morning Service, The Cove at The Grove Children’s Ministry meets every Wednesday from 6:00pm-7:00pm.  The kiddos at The Cove will tell you just how much fun they’re having while learning bible stories, memorizing scripture, playing games, eating tasty snacks and earning chances to plunder the Treasure Trove.

ALSO on Wednesdays from 6:00pm-7:00pm we have the “Refiner’s Fire: Kindling a Passion for The Truth”.  It’s open to everyone, not just those bringing kids. It will be relaxed time of hanging out by the fire pit, asking questions and talking plain truths about Jesus. Bring a comfy camping type chair if you got one.  You are more than welcome to bring your own marshmallows and snacks of you like!  Coffee provided inside.

In other news, we had a great night at our first Trunk-or-Treat on October 29th despite the frigid temperatures and gusty winds.  We brought it all inside and had a fantastic time!  Our members are continuing collection of non-perishable foods for our “Give Thanks” Food Drive for local area residents.  Jackie and her staff at HEARTS has been very instrumental in providing information that helps us organize it all.  Things are happening in our little community church.  See you there!
