Mount Olive Church of God

We enjoyed a Great Revival with the Carver Family and fellowship with all who came .

Our Adult Sunday School lesson today was “God the Father,” several scriptures were used. Psalm 121:2 “My help cometh from the Lord , which made heaven and earth .” We didn’t do anything to make our lives better, our help comes from God . It is a privilege to be God’s children. He deserves the highest praise we can give Him ! A quote by A.J. Gossip “ God is like the sun at high noon, always giving all He has .”

Brother Ronnie’s message this morning was from Exodus 14:3-14. We all have a past , most of us are still trying to weed things out of lives we don’t believe God wants in them! God is our Way Maker ! 1 Corinthians 10:13 “ There hath no temptation taken you but such is common to man : but “God is Faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape , that ye may be able to bear it .” God wants to know we will Love and follow Him regardless of what’s going on around us . He will try us with fire so we will come forth as gold !

Tonight’s service was a testimony and prayer service for all who are sick. We missed our Brothers and Sisters who usually worship with us on Sunday Nights hope they feel better soon !
