Pastor George Robinson opened to Gen. 13:14-18, “Just When You Need Him the Most”. We continue this week with Lot and Abram. Last week, Lot chose the fertile land but also an evil land. Abram today sees that when he looked out upon the land that God showed him he was really getting the best. It was full of blessings just as God had promised him. A major blessing was that his legacy would grow and grow.
God makes us promises but we have to be obedient to him! We have to live our life as he commands. God is looking for people to simply walk with Him. God wanted him to rise up, review his blessings that he was commanded to receive by faith. God’s will was consecrated by Abram’s act by doing what he needed to do. He responded to God in obedience and built an alter to worship Him! Every day we should get up and worship God!
Mount Olive Church of God
“God’s Design For The Family “, Genesis 2:21-24, Mark 10:6-9, Ephesians 5:22-6:4. Our Adult Sunday School lesson today shows us marriage and family was God’s plan. Genesis 2:24 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto his wife , and they shall be one flesh,” Conventional families according to God’s plan is almost non-existent in our world today. We have to teach children from a very young age right from wrong, how to submit to parents . Unity starts in the home .
