HEFLIN — Cleburne County residents may see a marked decrease in their garbage bill if a bid is accepted at next week’s County Commission meeting.

During a commission work session Monday, county administrator Kim Brown told the commission that Advanced Disposal had the lowest bid out of five contractors. If the bid is accepted, residents will pay $47.85 per quarter according to Brown.
