Hello from Happy Hill.   Hope this finds all of you doing good.

It was a blessing to be at Happy Hill on the first day of a brand new year.   I hope everyone will resolve to make church a priority in this new year.  Please know you are always welcome at Happy Hill.   Sunday School - 10:00;  Preaching - 11:00

May God in His goodness fill your new year with peace, love and all the wonderful gifts only He can give.

Until next time, God Bless!

May all your troubles last as long as your new years resolutions!

Dear Lord

So far this year I’ve done well.

I haven’t gossiped, I haven’t lost my temper, I haven’t been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish, or overindulgent. I’m very thankful for that.  But in a few minutes, Lord, I’m going to get out of bed, and from then on I’m probably going to need a lot more help.

Mount Olive Church of God

May God richly bless your new year!

Our adult Sunday school lesson today was “God of Grace and Compassion “, John 1:1-4:11. Even when we try to hide from God, He pursues us with His love, mercy and grace, He is determined to save us from sin. God’s love for us is greater than we can understand. I always thought the great fish swallowed Jonah because he disobeyed, but it was also to keep Jonah from drowning. Part of a quote by Chris Hutson, “

We are not saved by doing anything; rather, we are saved by trusting in what Jesus has already done.”

Brother Ronnie’s message this morning was from Deuteronomy 28:1-14, “Blessings of God we can all have “. Even though the devil hounds us, we’re getting the victory through Jesus! When we rebel and don’t obey the Word of God curses come on us! We have to diligently search the scriptures so we know God’s commands and can obey them.

Brother Ronnie’s message tonight was from John 12:27-33. We are here to honor God and Jesus! Good works will not get us to Heaven only the Blood of Jesus! Everyone gets at least one call from Jesus, Everyone is welcome to come to Jesus no matter our sins as long as we ask His Forgiveness! As Brother Greg said when he opened our services, “We will feel welcome in Heaven-Jesus will make us feel at home!
