VBS- everyone please save me your empty milk jugs!! We need a lot!
We opened to Rev. 3:7-13, “True Love Works”. To begin to know true love, we must have true love for the Master first! He is the only sinless one, the only sincere one. He has control over the saints with the key to heaven for he offers the only true salvation! He also has control over the sinners with the power to separate them from what is the truth.
We must have true love for the ministry. We need people to open the doors of opportunity because they kept His Word and had not denied His name. They could also withstand against the ungodly people because they had the optimism to withstand against. They also had the optimism to withstand and move the church forward in tough times. Their obligations to watch for his return is always seen as being foremost and visible by their walk by faith. They have true love for the message and a heart of love and strength for Him. Christ made us and marked us as His chosen people. Come hear the Lord’s message on how to give your life to Christ! Come know true Love!
Mount Olive Church of God
Last week was a great week of revival with the Carver Family! Anointed preaching and singing, many needs were met.
Our adult Sunday school lesson today was “The Spirit Filled Life “, Romans 8:12-39. There is no language that can completely explain who God is, if we could understand all about Him, He would not be God! (Isaiah 55:8). God has made us His children, only the power of the Holy Ghost can transform our lives.
Brother Ronnie’s message this morning was from 1 Corinthians 13. Love is not just an emotion or affection, every fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-26) begins with love. Our whole world needs to remember Proverbs 26:20”Where no wood is,the fire goeth out: So where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth”. Romans 8:35-39, nothing can separate us from the Love of Christ!
Brother Ronnie’s message tonight was from Psalms 107:19-22. Jesus came that we could be healed, every stripe Jesus bore was for some sickness or disease we’d have. Other scriptures about healing are: Mark 16:17-18, Isaiah 53:1-5, Malachi 4:2, James 5:14-15, 1 Peter 2:24.

Come and worship with us! We are located just off County Road 10 on right just past four way stop in Micaville. We are a Bible reading and Believing Church. Come and Taste and see that the Lord is good! This past Sunday, Bro MIke taught us our Sunday School lesson which was about The Voice of Conscience which came from 2 Chronicles 18:6-8, 22-27. Old King Ahab really never wanted the truth prophesied to him, he wanted his ear tickled. Sometimes we have to be like the prophet Micaiah and hold true to God even when sometimes you feel as though you are the only one and standing alone. During the preaching hour, Brother Barry had the message “Mortify The Flesh”. Matthew 26:26-36. In order to keep the flesh under subjection, there are a few things we must do on a daily basis-read our Bible, study our Bible, pray and talk to God, our Heavenly Father. When we read and study our Bible, first ask by praying to God to anoint you with the Holy Spirit so that you may understand what you are reading. The Bible was wrote in the Spirit and must be read in the Spirit for full understanding.
Then, Sunday night, Brother Barry had the message”Reap What You Sow”. Galations 6:6-10. What are you sowing-the spirit of God or the worldly things? We must read our Bible daily and while in the spirit to be able to understand it. When we understand it, we then can sow Godly things each day. Most people worry about denominations- but denominations will not get you to heaven. Reading , studying, and sowing from the BIBLE to get Godly results in our lives- This truth will give us life everlasting. Desires of the heart will be Godly if you have God living /dwelling on the inside of your heart. We have to let the spirit of God lead and guide us every day in all that we do. Until next week, Pray without ceasing!
