The Cleburne County Board of Education unanimously approved a technology plan for the school system Monday night. The plan includes upgrades to the school system’s data network.
The State Board of Education sends each school system in the state money that’s earmarked for technology upgrades.
Cleburne County schools technology coordinator, Corey Cochran, said its plan includes upgrades to the school system’s data network control infrastructure — specifically the electronic switches that control data flow and bandwidth. According to Cochran the dollar amount of the data plan will not be known until the plan is approved.
